“Sal de Ibiza” at Kaempff-Kohler in the city centre: The salt of life!

Sal de Ibiza is extracted exclusively from the Salt Flats of the Eivissa Natural Park.

It is produced according to ancestral tradition.

Without additives, the salt collected is not refined, but simply dried in the sun, under the light breeze of the Ibiza wind, before being ground.

Fleur de sel holds a special place in the range: when natural salt from evaporation ponds crystallizes on the surface of the water, it forms fleur de sel. Since the crystals of the “fleur de sel” only form in strong sunlight and under certain natural conditions, Fleur de Sel cannot be produced industrially and must be collected by hand.

This high-end gourmet product has a particularly mild and delicate taste. It has little in common with ordinary table salt other than its name.

“Sal de Ibiza” offers salt in all its forms: fleur de sel (in ceramic pot), granito sea salt (natural, with herbs, pepper, lemon, Creole, with lemongrass-ginger or sesame seeds), coarse salt and fine sea salt.

And for lovers of savoury bites, the range also contains crisps, chocolate and nuts with Ibiza salt.
