At the end of April, the Sucrés du Lux: a collective of pastry chefs from Luxembourg and the Greater Region, gathered at the Sofitel Luxembourg Kirchberg to present their latest sweet creations. Among them, Jonathan Szymkowiak, pastry chef at Kaempff-Kohler, once again amazed us with a revisited version of the great classic: the mille-feuille.
His creation?
A delicately caramelized puff pastry, filled with a smooth hazelnut gianduja, topped with a mascarpone whipped cream, all enhanced by a drizzle of salted butter caramel.
