As every year, we are waiting for the Beaujolais Primeur on the 3rd Thursday of November, which this year falls on the 21st.
The Beaujolais wine region (100% Gamay) which will be in the spotlight extends north of Burgundy, from Mâcon to the south of Villefranche-sur-Saône.
Our Primeur, which has only fermented for a few weeks, was harvested from the 38 villages of the appellation.
The arrival of this very typical new wine is the perfect opportunity to offer you a true autumn treat.
At the cheese shop in the City Center, our cheesemonger Sonia has prepared a Beaujolais platter for €22 including a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau, a special that perfectly pairs cheese with this traditional, fresh, fruity, and light beverage.
If you prefer Brie, we invite you to visit Stéphanie and her team at the Niederanven shop to enjoy Beaujolais Nouveau with a slice of Brie and homemade bread for €12.50.
Come and celebrate the arrival of Beaujolais Primeur with us!
