The pastry chefs and chocolatiers at Kaempff-Kohler have decided to honor this tradition, which comes to us from the Netherlands in the 16^th century, where Dutch sailors would stick dead fish on their colleagues’ backs as a good luck charm when they were about to set sail for fishing.

This is how the fish became associated with pranks.
