Kaempff-Kohler patisserie
Say it with a Bretzel
The 4th Sunday of Lent is just around the corner.
In Luxembourg, March 15 is a special day for new lovers and for everyone else, too. It’s time to give a Bretzel!
Tradition has it that the man traditionally gives his partner this very special pastry treat as a token of his feelings. If the feeling is mutual, he receives in return a chocolate egg on Easter Sunday.
At Kaempff-Kohler, the bretzel, a Luxembourg patisserie speciality, is a handcrafted, handmade product, made from laminated yeast dough covered with a layer of fondant sugar and almonds, filled or not, whose shape represents the intertwined arms of two lovers.
Visit our shops, where our delicious bretzels are available plain sweet or filled with hazelnut, in 150, 300 or 500 g.
We wish you a pleasant and very indulgent Bretzlesonndeg.
