You’ve probably already spotted them—our chocolate April Fool’s fish, currently floating on the shelves of our shops.
The pastry chefs and chocolatiers at Kaempff-Kohler have decided to honor this tradition, which comes to us from the Netherlands in the 16th century, where Dutch sailors would stick dead fish on their colleagues’ backs as a good luck charm when they were about to set sail for fishing.
This is how the fish became associated with pranks.
Our fish are far from being a joke! On the contrary, they’re the perfect opportunity to delight someone with a tempting little chocolate treat.
