Fresh Goat Cheese: A Breath of Fresh Air

You’ll enjoy it on toast, with chives, pepper or a drizzle of olive oil. It’s delicious crumbled in summer salads or incorporated into hot dishes.

For a sweet treat, fresh goat cheese pairs wonderfully with honey, fruits (figs, grapes) or jam.

Kaempff-Kohler’s goat cheese is from Luxembourg. It is produced at Bio-Haff Baltes, the first farm in Luxembourg to produce organic goat cheese in the Grand Duchy since 2007.

Fresh goat cheese is an unripened cheese, consumed very young, usually just a few days after its production. It is made from whole goat’s milk.

This cheese is characterized by its tender texture, lack of rind, and mild flavor.

Its texture is melting, creamy, and very moist (it can contain up to 80% water).

On the palate, fresh goat’s cheese is mild, milky and slightly tangy. It does not have the pronounced, “goaty” taste of dry, matured goat’s cheeses.

Definitely a great summer option for cheese lovers who don’t want to go without their favorite product during the summer.
