National Day 2026
Kaempff-Kohler – “A piece of Luxembourg gastronomy”
Today: the “Trounwiessel” chocolate
Deeply attached to Luxembourg’s heritage and identity, Maison Kaempff-Kohler wished to mark a historic moment in our country: the Trounwiessel of October 3, 2025, during which His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri passed the throne to his son, Grand Duke Guillaume.
As the proud holder of the “Supplier to the Court” label, it felt natural for us to be associated with this exceptional event by creating a gourmet treat worthy of the occasion: the “Trounwiessel” chocolate.
For this special edition, our chocolatiers selected an exceptional 68% dark chocolate, made from cocoa beans from Ghana and refined using Swiss expertise to offer a rich, elegant and refined tasting experience.
The bar highlights several iconic symbols of Luxembourg, including the Gëlle Fra, the Grand Ducal Palace and the Knuedler monument, dedicated to King William II. These motifs also appear on a collector’s packaging specially designed for this creation.
Both a tribute to the national heritage and a collector’s item, the Trounwiessel chocolate elegantly celebrates National Day, the Grand Ducal Family and Kaempff-Kohler ’s attachment to Luxembourg traditions. 🇱🇺🍫✨
