The Wine of the Moment at Kaempff-Kohler Niederanven

Our Niederanven store presents its wine of the moment: la Croix Petite from Domaine d’Escausses

This red wine, aged in Sainte Croix, near Gaillac in the Tarn, presents itself with a beautiful violet color with garnet reflections.

Produced from three grape varieties, Fer Servadou, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine displays the characteristics of these South-Western varieties.

Rich in complex aromas where notes of dark fruits and spices blend, the nose is enhanced by a slight touch of vanilla.

The Croix Petite is well-balanced and leaves impressions of density, smoothness, and a nice length on the palate, supported by noble tannins with a pleasant finish of roasted notes.

Domaine d’Escausses is located to the west of the Gaillac appellation. It has been managed by the Balaran family for 7 generations.
