ZDF Teams Visit Kaempff-Kohler
As part of its morning show “Volle Kanne”, a film crew from the German TV channel ZDF visited Kaempff-Kohler in Luxembourg City to shoot a segment about Riesling pâté.
This iconic dish from Luxembourg’s culinary heritage was created in 1928 by the founder of the Kaempff-Kohler company, Pierre Kaempff, grandfather of Mr. Guill and Christian, current managers of the company. At the time, the Rieslingspaschtéit was intended as an after-work snack for Pierre and his friends.
German television covered the story with Christian Kaempff, highlighting leisure opportunities available to German tourists in neighboring countries, in connection with the affordable German railway ticket.
The program Volle Kanne, which offers a mix of practical information, entertainment, and current affairs, airs every morning from 9:00 AM on the ZDF channel.
