New Kaempff-Kohler creation: The Matcha chocolate bar

The Matcha chocolate bar

The integration of matcha tea into our culinary culture opens up a range of flavors to new experiences.

The pastry chefs and chocolatiers at Kaempff-Kohler were inspired by Valrhona to create a new plant-based recipe: the matcha tea chocolate bar, a product with a sensory profile defined by green tea, accompanied by a subtle note of matcha.

The matcha powder, made from premium tea leaves from Kagoshima on the Japanese island of Kyushu, boasts a meadow green color and reveals a particular sweetness and taste complexity.

It is incorporated into a chocolate produced with a 35% cocoa butter base.

The alliance of chocolate and matcha reveals a unique texture, colors, and an intense taste, blending vegetal and bitter notes with a lighter, roasted, and umami sensation.

The new Matcha bar contains no added colorants or flavors.

The combination of bold flavors and natural colors exuded by this chocolate feels like a breath of nature and recalls the tranquility of the Japanese ritual.
